About The Video Agency.

Companies needed high quality video and fast. Our turnaround time was our first order of business. In order to meet our 10 Business Day Turnaround time, we knew we needed a streamlined process starting with the Discovery Call all the way through to our clients' download of their final video.

We cast a wide net to connect with talented videographers from all over the US and Canada. This gave us the ability to keep local videographers doing what they do best while also expediting our own production process. Our Post Production facility then made continuity it’s main focus. Approved fonts, colors, brand guidelines are all handled by our Post Teams. This means if we shoot a video for you in LA and New York, you will see the same principles and assets applied to both.

The old adage “Good, cheap or fast, pick two,” was certainly something we were aware of. By offering bundled video packages and extremely detailed Pre-Production, we were able to check all boxes in a manner rarely done in video production. This gives our clients economy of scale, speed of delivery and continuity of product all at once. Thousands of videos and millions of hits later, we’re just getting started.

CASE STUDIES

NICKELBACK TO THE FUTURE

When rock gods Nickelback call needing a 80’s themed performance for Kelly Clarkson, we get all hands on deck. This wonderful collaboration with the Canadian legends was a dream shoot.

From the common love of 80’s themes to a “why not?” attitude that spread across our teams, this project featured some very memorable moments: A rapidfire pace of shooting , sharing resources with Ryan Reynold’s Maximum Effort crew in a shared space, and a steaming hot DeLorean entry that stopped everyone dead in their tracks were all highlights of Nickelback To The Future.

A GRAND TOUR

The influence of the original Top Gear and The Grand Tour can be seen throughout our work and even our private lives here within The Video Agency team. Previous to The Grand Tour, we had been recommended as the only local crew when Top Gear was filming in the Canadian Rockies. Sadly, due to some paparazzi interference we weren’t able to connect. This was a crushing blow for Director Nik Green especially.

“I couldn’t even bring myself to watch that episode knowing that I should have been there to assist,” said Green. Fast forward to a couple of years later and the new incarnation of the Top Gear show comes knocking early one morning. “We need you and your car.”

“Done. Where?”

Green called lifelong friend and frequent collaborator Edan Marshall.

“You’re skipping work,”

What followed was a meta like journey to assist the hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond largely by way of a 1000+ mile road trip to locate key missing production elements and ensure the shoot could continue with the GT core crew.

Performing this road trip in one sitting at the wheel was the most Grand Tour thing possible and Green and Marshall grinned from ear to ear the entire time. Jump ahead another couple of months, Green and Marshall found themselves at a live taping on Jeremy Clarkson’s farm as guests of the show.

And yes, they watched their own episode. Many, many, many times.

LEWIS HAMILTON.

When we were initially contacted to work with Lewis, we found ourselves barely able to hear the phone conversation as we were in the thick of Pike’s Market in Seattle. For the majority of the call, our excitement was all around the fact that we would be filming with Surfing God, Laird Hamilton.

The mention of Petronas however had Director Nik Green do a literal double take when he realized the magnitude of the upcoming shoot in Austin, Texas.

As a driving fanatic, son of two British parents, and Grandchild of a British Racing Journalist, the call gave Green a full circle moment.

“I actually happened to be standing with my dad who was visiting from the UK at the time,” said Green

“It was a surreal moment that had us both realize how generational interests can evolve and stack upon one another,”
